DURING REGISTRATION

Before you register for any course our Programs Consultant meets each potential student and works with you to review your work history, explore your interests and ensure the courses you are looking to take will put you on the right career path.  We can also help you with any questions you have regarding student loans, EI payments or future employment prospects.  Heck, we can even tell you who should have won “The Bachelor”, however make sure you book an extra 30 minutes with Jeanine for this one.

DURING YOUR STUDIES

From Day 1, our facilitators are here to make sure your experience at AOL is a fantastic one!  We will give you a tour of the facility, outline our expectations for you, and get you off to a great start.  While you work your way through your program our facilitators are there to answer any questions you might have.  Of course, there’s also the chance to interact with other students, put your name in monthly draws for great prizes and take advantage of all the other offerings provided by AOL.  Finally, as you near the end of your studies we will sit down with you and start to map out your next steps in order to find your career.

AFTER COMPLETION

This is where “the rubber hits the road”, and where The Academy of Learning stands out from its’ competitors.  We will help you update your resume, outlining your skills and accomplishments that today’s employers are looking for.  Also, with our massive list of employer contacts we can put the word out that you’re now available to work, accelerating the hiring process.  Finally, we can help prepare you for your interview, making sure you understand what the company is searching for in a new employee and how you fit that need.
